“Suggest going early. Lines are shorter to get in and more parking is available. And it is cooler and lines for everything are shorter. The trolley rides are free and drivers are very informative- highly recommend! Also start you day by reserving a time to see the pandas. Failure to do so incurs long lines of waiting to get in on standby basis.”

“We loved seeing the Sumatran tigers up and moving about the enclosure. The African Tram ride was also a highlight experience. We had many stand-out moments. Our lunch was good but the line was long and slow. Maybe more people need to be hired and trained before the people line up!”

“Lots of busses of schoolkids so we were really glad to bypass that. First bathroom is right at the front entrance. So many volunteers in red shirts to guide you and answer questions. Very nice shade trees for your sun protection along the paths. Be sure to wear a hat!”

“Had a GREAT time BUT get familiar with the bike. My first time on one and had a few mishaps; issues were with me lol not bike. Also note you’ll be riding along cars a lot of way. Bike route clearly marked; enjoyed the ride and wasn’t too crowded when I went early May but maybe a little more challenging if busy. Enjoyed stopping in different towns; missed out on enjoying the ocean bc of the weather. Smooth rental process; friendly, helpful staff”
